This Friday has brought exciting news from Paul Thorn, announcing his new album Life Is Just A Vapor. Set to release on February 21st via Thirty Tigers, this album is the first to follow his 2021 album Never Too Late to Call. Eleven new songs are on the way, each sharing some of the wisdom Thorn has gathered over his life and career, told through his witty and powerful songwriting.
Thorn says “I like for people to be touched by music and get something from it, something that they can take with them throughout the day. Every song on this album, there's a message in it of some sort about how to live life.”
With this announcement comes the first single, "Tough Times Don't Last," accompanied by its official lyric video. This track kicks off the album with an encouraging message on overcoming challenges as "tough people do."
As Thorn explains, "’Tough Times Don’t Last’ is a song that everyone can relate to as we’re all looking at something that’s hard to face at one time or another. There are two kinds of people in the world. There are people that lay down and cry when faced with adversity and there are those that understand that you have to sometimes fight your way back up. Things can get better but you have to stay tough to endure and this song is about that."
Between the release of Life Is Just A Vapor and shows continuing into 2025, Thorn leaves us with much to look forward to as we approach the new year. Pre-save the album here, and visit his tour page to catch him on the road!
